Online lens shopping

Illustration of shopping for lenses process

When shopping for eyeglasses, the process typically starts with selecting the frame, but lenses are also required to complete the purchase. The goal for this online optical shop was to streamline this entire process on their digital platform, eliminating the need for customers to visit a physical store. Now, while shopping for frames on the website, customers have the option to seamlessly add lenses to their purchase by clicking a designated button.

I was responsible for creating the UI component and assisting in simplifying the logic that determines how various optometric details should influence the availability and behavior of the module.

You can input all the necessary optometric details into the form, and then customize your order with options like UV protection and blue light protection. This information is consolidated into the order details available to the customer, ensuring their lenses are crafted to their specifications and shipped directly to them.
